The Ultra Violet Light (UV) Water bottle gives you pure drinking water peace of mind.
The Innovative UV-C technology in the lid cleans the inner surfaces of the bottle by eliminating bacteria, viruses and mould. Activate the UV by a click of the button and after just 3 minutes the bottle will be clean...Leaving no germs, odour or taste!
Great for everyday use, the UV bottle is also perfect for camping and for when you don't know about the quality of water you could be drinking. Our double walled UV bottle holds 550ml of hot or cold liquid, keeping water cold for 12 hours and hot for 4.
The UV bottle comes in luxurious matte black stainless steel, with an Ultra Violet WAKEcup logo.... see what we did there?
The USB rechargeable Lithium battery gives you self-cleaning power for up to a month on a full charge. Waterproof MicroUSB connector included with the bottle.
Laboratory test results confirm that over 99.99% of bacteria, virus and fungal spores were killed when exposed to 3 minutes of UV-C light. Test organisms included: Staphylococcus Aureus, Escherichia Coli and Candida Albicans.
UV light is widely used by the NHS and other healthcare providers to sterilise patient rooms and other surfaces.
Dr David Weber says "UV Light has been demonstrated to be a safe and effective method to disinfect water. UV is environmentally friendly, leaves no residuals and kills germs."
