The WAKEbag rucksack is a firm favourite with sustainable fashionistas and zero waste warriors. It's been featured in numerous magazines and publications including The Independent, Glamour, The Pool, Vegan Living and NotOnTheHighStreet. Also available in black.
This is an 100% vegan backpack, made from poly paper fibres which are spun and then bonded together to create the look of paper, but with the durability and thickness of leather which gets better even with age. It’s practical, waterproof, washable and is the perfect size for a tablet or small laptop, water bottle, coffee cup and lunch.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Use a damp cloth to clean inside and outside. Take care not to load over 5kg.

I’ve just moved to a new city and have been doing a lot of exploring with my dog. This bag is the perfect size for days like this! It’s big enough to carry everything I need but still looks cute. It’s got useful sections, one for a laptop and another hidden zipped section in the back. It’s comfortable to wear even when full and is durable for everyday use.
I love it because it’s got all the practical factors of a rucksack but doesn’t make you look like you’re going to school or for a hike.

I loved the look of the bag on the website and I knew I just had to buy it. It came through the post quickly. Having opened the package to unveil my bag, I was afraid to touch it, it looked so delicate. Now that I have taken it away on holiday, I love it! It can take the weight of my water and laptop. It's a conversation starter with like minded people about the environment. The only thing I would say is that I would've liked to have purchased the brown colour bag with the starter kit which is not available, only in the black. Also, I have a 13" screen laptop which I managed to squeeze into it. Pity, because all it needs is another inch length ways inside for it to be accommodated easily.

The extra small pocket was a nice bonus, as well as the side zipper pocket and the side zipper access. The backpack is exactly like in the pictures, and the paper-like texture is more realistic than I was expected. The closing band is a bit stiff but I hope it will give with use.
I hope this will be a long lasting item, it suits my style and needs perfectly.
I wasn't expecting that the side zipper was another access to the main pocket, but since inside there are two smaller sleeves (one of them padded for a laptop), it's possible to organize the inside without having the items fall when we open the side zipper.

Very sweet little bag. Fits nice and snug and the straps can be adjusted. A papery finish which makes you wonder how waterproof it is, but claims to be 100% waterproof which is good news. My water bottle and flask fits perfectly inside with room for more. Stylish bag and made from natural materials. Really happy with it.

Haven't really used yet but looks and feels great - it really looks like a paper bag but is very tough. Can fit my (small) laptop, all of the cables, mouse etc and still have room for notepad, pencil case, wallet etc.

Beautiful bag, I have purchased for my daughter as she is starting nursery in September and wanted something different which could have her name printed on. Lots of people have commented on bag and where it was purchased from! Only down point is the straps are twisted slightly so don't sit neatly.
